there has been some uncertainty around the support for the Data capture for DHIS 2 Android app so here comes a small clarification:
The data capture app has been developed by Araz Abishov through a Google summer of code project. It is hence not developed by the core team. You should however not hesitate using this app in production for you project, as we have agreed with Araz to contract for support and development for a specific project, and we are fully committed to supporting this app through server-side features. This means we will make sure this app is maintained and supported going forward.
The app itself is quite excellent, with a smooth user interface and stable, reliable data capture functionality. It lets you capture data on Android devices without internet connection, and will automatically synchronize data with the server when connectivity is present.
You can get it from dhis2.org/downloads or directly from Google Play.
