Dashboard app version 101.0.0 is now available - support for dashboard plugins built with app platform and more

Dear DHIS2 Community,

We are excited to announce the release of Dashboard app 101.0.0 version. This update introduces several improvements for existing functionality.

Dashboard app 101.0.0 Release notes:

  • Support for dashboard plugins built with the App Platform | Jira

  • Improved communication between the Dashboard App and the Maps, Line Listing and Data Visualizer plugins

  • Fixes for the following Dashboard App bugs:

    • If you add a filter that results in “no data” for a chart, removing the filter does not reload the original chart | Jira
    • Link to App Hub results in 404 in dashboard item when the plugin/app is not installed | Jira
    • Visualizations re-render when loading a dashboard, creating a flashing effect | Jira

Important: This update requires a coordinated upgrade of the other analytics apps.

The new version of the Dashboard App relies on updated versions of Maps, Data Visualizer and Line Listing apps to function correctly, so these apps must be upgraded concurrently.

Steps:

  1. Upgrade all four apps to the following minimum versions:
    • Dashboard App: 101.0.0
    • Maps App: 101.0.0
    • Line Listing App: 102.0.0
    • Data Visualizer App: 101.0.0
  2. Confirm that the Dashboard is functioning as expected after the upgrade.

The Dashboard app is on continuous release, compatible with 2.40 and above. You can download the new release from DHIS2 App Hub or test it out on DHIS2 Play.
