Hi! We would like to know if it’s possible to customize our DHIS2 dashboard visualizations so that specific users see only the data relevant to them.
For example, we have three types of users: one parent user and two child users. The parent user has a dashboard with a chart that visualizes data from four different areas: Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, and Area 4.
We want the child users to see only the data relevant to their areas of concern:
Child User 1 should see the chart with data from Area 1 and Area 2.
Child User 2 should see the chart with data from Area 3 and Area 4.
Is it possible to configure the dashboard in this way?
To make sure that the user will view only the data relevant to the user based on their assigned OUs, you will need to make sure that the favorites are set in this way before adding them to the Dashboard app.
For instance, in the Data Visualizer app, open the chart, click on the Organization Unit and then select the “User Organization Unit” (based on the level that you want to be shared)
After that when you add these favorites to the dashboard, they will appear based on the OUs assigned to the user.
