I would love to help! As you can see from @Caroline’s post, it’s no longer necessary to use the API for creating filtered list in the new capture app. If you are able to use latest version of the app then you will be able to easily save filtered lists.
If you’re not able to use the latest version/s. What version are you using? What are the errors? The errors might be because the requests need to be according the the endpoint schema with the required parameters.

I am using as i have mentioned before DHIS 2 version 2.38.1.1
I am able to download the new capture app version 100.22.1
However, when i open my tracker program using the new capture app i get the same feature for working lists as the ones i get in the tracker capture app already
so when i press the gear icon i get rhe same TEAs that i already have in tracker and what i want to do is filter TEIs based on their due date
so How to do that with the capture ?

In capture app working list - you have a button called more filters:
Select program stage, and you will get this view:
Select update after choosing program stage.
You can now filter by event date, event status, and all the data elements within the program stage.
However - you can not save the program stage view yet, but that will come.
@hanin.saadah you probably want to see this new feature too.

I looked at my local instance, where I have 2.38.1.1, and it seems like this feature is only available in 2.39 versions. I couldnt find it in 2.38.2.1 either, only in 2.39 versions.
So to get the feature, you probably need to upgrade to 2.39.0.1. I apologise for not checking this yesterday.

@Caroline Merry Christmas to you dear and have one last question with much apologies:
does this feature in Capture app in V2.39 means that all tracker data entry would be through using the capture app instead of tracker capture ???

No worries 
Yes, we are always working on improving the capture app, so it can replace tracker capture at some point. You can still use tracker capture for everything else, but if you need to sort by events in program stages, you have to use the capture app.
Every new feature implemented will be available only in capture app.
