COVID-19 Package training material now available

The HISP network has been working to develop generic training material that can be used as a resource for capacity building for DHIS2 trainers and end users working with the COVID-19 surveillance packages. The first round of training material is now available on the DHIS2 website: Covid Training Material - DHIS2

Currently, these materials cover:

  • Data Entry for the Case-Based Surveillance Package: Trainer’s guide to conducting the training session, exercises to accompany the training session, 1-page job aids for end-users to refer to during and after the training
  • Data Entry for the Contact Registration & Follow-Up Package: Trainer’s guide to conducting the training session, exercises to accompany the training session, 1-page job aids for end-users to refer to during and after the training
  • Data Entry for Android: User guides for the Case-based Surveillance, Contact Registration & Follow-up, Port of Entry, Events Surveillance and Aggregate Surveillance packages
  • Common Settings for Android: User guide for managing common Android settings

We are currently working on developing material for the Port of Entry Tracker package and for data analysis, and will update the website once this material is available.

The COVID-19 Training Materials are based on the standard COVID-19 packages. In order to use them effectively, they will need to be populated with specific information from your own COVID-19 implementation (text modification, screenshots, instructions for/from your specific implementation) and are meant as a reference when designing your own training material.

If you have questions or comments regarding this material, or requests for additional areas that we should cover, please reply to this thread with your feedback.
