I’m seeking clarification regarding an email I received stating that my abstract was accepted for a session at the DHIS2 Symposium 2026 (Feb 11–12, Arlington, VA).
The message requests that speakers complete a paid registration using an access code. However, after applying the “speaker” promo code, the total still shows a remaining amount to be paid, which feels ambiguous to me.
On the event website, it is not fully clear whether accepted speakers are expected to pay any registration fee at this stage, or whether speaker access should be fully covered.
To avoid any misunderstanding or potential risk, I would appreciate confirmation on:
- Whether this is the official speaker registration process
- Whether speakers are normally required to pay a remaining fee after applying the speaker code
