changing organisation unit coordinates in DHIS-2.23

It seems that the option to move health facilities in the GIS module has been removed - probably a good thing, since people inadvertantly move them around inaccurately. However, it seems that the GPS coordinates no longer appear in the Organisation Unit maintenance app.

Is there any way to make such changes through the front end any more?

Hi Lars and Bob,

I’m wondering if any of my posts to the lists are getting through. I sent this over the weekend and it still hasn’t appeared. Am I using the wrong address or is someone intentionally filtering out all of my posts? Several that I have tried to post in the past also never appeared.

Randy

That is interesting observation.

It seems msh.org is using something called DKIM which basically creates a signature for the message. Gmail checks if the signature is valid and if it is then it happily lands in my gmail inbox.

The problem seems to be that when he sends to the list, launchpad/mailman somehow breaks the signature so it ends up in our spam boxes.

It seems to be a known launchpad problem (see eg https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/1589693). The bug is marked as new/unassigned and affecting 3 users. Maybe a good idea that everyone on this list (and maybe everyone at msh!) goes to the link above and click on “this bug affects me” to raise its attention.

Hello Bob,

That’s the interesting fact about launchpad’s inter-process email processing. Perhaps, there should be some declarative functionality in DHIS2 dashboard too, where data, information and knowledge should appears with some other dimensions in very informative presentation for making it more approachable application for decision support.

DHIS2 should be customized with presenting indicator data with these three diverse disaggregative dimensions like “issue”, “impact”, and “recommendation”. Perhaps more declarative implies that “issue” should appear with declarative indicator with the graphical presentation where as subsequently “impact” and “recommendation” should appears for making better decisions support for the raised issue as an indicator.

Correct me if i am wrong …
