As we now use the Capture App for both events and tracker programs, Shall we request to make the forms auto-align, is there any tweaks for it.
Currently, if the data element name is a bit long, it’s going to be displayed in a very short space, and text values are going to take more space without any reason.
Can we allign it with some tweaks? Shall we fix this? I think it’s minor fix but HUGE impact in asthetics.
For example, look below in play dhis2 Malaria focus investigation program events. Questions are displayed in a very small space, and values are taking more space in the layout.
There’s the option to create a custom form but maybe it seems impractical for you; however, I’m wondering if the auto-align is also a fix for all. Let’s say that the field is set to ‘fit-content’ and that it grows and shrinks based on the input, so it’s possible to hear the argument that keeping all the fields with the same size improves the aesthetics compared fields varying in size.
May you explain further why it’s an issue to have the fields the same size, and what exactly would be the solution?
