build event tracker fail

hello All

I am trying to build android dhis2 event capture app ,

I have already clone project dhis2 event capture and dhis2 android sdk

please see folder structure attached picture

I am using android studio 1.5.1

in android studio , I choose menu ‘Open’, and choose build.graddle file in project dhis2 event capture

but Error:Configuration with name ‘default’ not found.

Is there anything I am not doing right ?

Hi Rudi,

You need to switch both SDK and EventCapture repositories to develop branch.

From terminal, navigate to dhis2-android-sdk folder and execute next command:

git checkout develop

Then try to do the same in dhis2-android-eventcapture.

Let me know if that does not solve the problem.

Hi Araz,

I think the current stable branch is worth mentioning in README.md so that everyone would be able to build the apps on their own.

Hi Sultanahamar,

Both master and develop branches are stable at the moment (you should be able to build from both of them). The only difference is that develop branch is ahead of master and has dependency on latest android plugin for gradle (which can probably fix aforementioned problem of Rudi).
