Beyond Reporting: Smart Education Data Analysis in DHIS2 for better planning

HISP Uganda was honored to host and facilitate a Data Analysis Webinar on Friday, 16th May 2025, focused on empowering users to extract and analyze data using the DHIS2 Data Visualizer.
Because data is only powerful when used, this session aimed to encourage school administrators and head teachers in Uganda to actively engage with the education data they capture in DHIS2.
With over 60 participants from various countries and domains, the webinar also provided a valuable opportunity for professionals outside the education sector to gain insights into how DHIS2 is supporting the use of education data.

Hello, I am a new member in the CoP and your presentation was great. From the very beginning of my journey through DHIS2 I was trying to weave education and health, and you showed a presentation that focuses on educational data indicators. On the other side you use the DHIS2 Platform which is friendly to use. In Uruguay, principals are asked for data according to the investigators need and we receive a table where to add numbers. After that, in a year or sometimes more, we receive the results. Of course, principals collect data from their organizations and use it according to the needs, assistance, number of students per group, etc. to make the organization work. This webinar promotes a shot of tools, techniques and study to create efficient sources to manage as a teacher, principal, supervisor. The difference is the kind of platform where you con track information from different roles. Thank you a lot for sharing your work.
