In Honduras, DHIS2 is implemented as the National Health Information System (SIIS) collecting malaria related information including case notification and investigation, vector control, entomology, and laboratory results. DHIS2 Android capture is used by 60+ end users in 5 malaria prioritized regions. In Panama, 44 VCTs are using DHIS2 Android capture to collect enumeration data from remote localities and spray campaigns.
In the DHIS2 malaria session (Thurs June 24 @ 14:00-14:55 CEST) William Avilés (Health Informatics Technical Advisor Mesoamerica & Hispaniola) will showcase experiences, successes, and challenges in these two DHIS2 implementations in Latin America, please join us to discuss these results and more with all panelists.
Hope to see you there!
