I am working on a multi-phase M&E project in the humanitarian sector and exploring how best to structure it using DHIS2 Tracker.
The project includes baseline assessments, periodic monitoring, and endline evaluations, with the need to track individuals or households over time.
I would highly appreciate any advice or examples around:
- Structuring Tracker programs for longitudinal data (multiple stages of data per tracked entity)
- Managing repeatable events like monthly check-ins or follow-ups

Looks like an interesting project.
A quick start guide
- Decide TEI type (Person or Household).
- Create TEI attributes (with unique ID and consent).
- Create the Tracker Program with 3 stages (Baseline, Monthly Monitoring [repeatable], Endline).
- Configure Monthly Monitoring:
- Repeatable = true
- Standard interval = 30
- Allow future due dates, allow adding events
- Generate next event on stage completion
- Add program rules (skip logic, validation, scheduling tweaks).
- Build program indicators and dashboards.
- Pilot on the Android Capture App with a small team, refine, then scale.
