A requirement that has surfaced in several implementations is that one would like to be able to send emails to users with generated PDF reports as attachement.
Would this be a straightforward extension of current functionality?
Hi,
to me it sounds more elegant to send a link to the PDF representation of the report inside DHIS. Ie. create some sort of report, get as PDF and paste the URL into the message, then people can click and download that report.

I sort of agree, and was also thinking of using the WebAPI for reports

I would also like to generate an SMS with that link.
However, this still requires them to log in (and remember username/password)
Also, it would be great to be able to not have to generate the PDF manually, but to automatically generate monthly reports - and with the parameters tailored to the user (primarily the user’s root orgunit)
