Ask user to create new event when stage is complete - not work for scheduled events

The program stage feature to “ask user to create new event when stage is complete” does not work consistently.
It appears to work only when completing an event created with “Add New” or when re-opening a completed event, and then re-“complete and finish”

When completing&finishing an auto-generated scheduled event it does not display the message.

Using Version 2.34.2
