Reinforce Your DHIS2 Learning and Skills
Dear Community Members
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for a selection of DHIS2 Academies in the last three months of 2021! This includes new Level 1 courses on Tracker use and configuration. We also have some news about the final Level 2 Academy of the year and the first Academies planned for early 2022. Read on below to learn about our upcoming courses:
- Tracker Use, Level 1 (Asia region), 25-29 October
- Tracker Use, Level 1 (Africa region - English), 15-19 November
- Tracker Configuration, Level 1 (Global - English), Q1 2022 (dates TBD)
- Android Implementation, Level 2 (Global), 29 November - 3 December
October marks the start of our newly revamped DHIS2 Tracker Academy program that includes a series of digital Level 1 courses dedicated to the Asian and African regions.
The Level 1 Tracker curriculum now includes two components:
1. Tracker Use
- Part 1: A 2-hour webinar that will include a high-level overview of the different Tracker use cases in the region. You will learn more about the key implementations taking place.
- Part 2: A second 2-hour webinar focusing on the DHIS2 Tracker programs and the latest features available in Tracker.
- Part 3: The 5-day DHIS2 Tracker Use Academy where you will learn more on the different methods of capturing Tracker data and the utilization of these methods to enter Tracker data. You will also be able to review tracker data, generate outputs using the in-built analysis tools within DHIS2 and more.

2. Tracker Configuration
This 10-day Level 1 Academy will be hosted in mid-January. It will focus on the Tracker Data Model, Tracker Capture (Web), Tracker and Android, and analyzing Tracker data. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
DHIS2 Android Implementation Academy, Level 2
29 November - 3 December
Mobile implementation is a complex task. The DHIS2 Android Capture App offers a mobile solution for capture of aggregate and Tracker/Event data on Android devices that functions in both online and offline mode.
During this Academy, you will explore all the functionalities and key aspects for a successful configuration of the DHIS2 Android app associated with the DHIS2 server to guarantee the best user experience for the front-line worker.
