Admin user has no permissions to configure routes for the CHAP on play

It seems the common admin user [admin:district] has no permission to configure routes on DHIS2 Play

I am setting up a local CHAP instance and i would like to connect it to play. Let me know if I am missing something

Any help is appreciated

Hi @micnice

You are right. The admin/district does have limited authority in the instance which is to avoid users breaking the instances while others are trying to ‘play’ as well. However, I’ve triaged to see if some authorities can be updated for this to work.

May I ask why not use and test the entire thing locally? Is there a reason why you’d like to test on play?

Thanks!

Hi @micnice ,

If you are just looking to try out Chap, we have a demo instance here: Login app | DHIS2

User/password: admin/district.

If you’re looking specifically for a local instance setup, or a developer setup, please reply and I can point you to some other resources.

Hello @Gassim and @jen.jones.arnesen,

Thank you for the clarifications! The shared instance serves part of the purpose for my trials. Ideally I needed a instance that contain data on malaria for a proof of concept.

Unfortunately, we do not have a publicly available malaria demo instance or dataset.
