As a development professional with a background in public health and data systems, I am deeply interested in using and developing DHIS2 to strengthen evidence-based decision-making in Pakistan, particularly in underserved regions like Balochistan. My experience working with MNCH, health information systems, and community-based monitoring has shown me how crucial reliable, real-time data is for improving service delivery and responding to public health challenges. DHIS2 offers a powerful, adaptable platform that can transform how health and development data are collected, analyzed, and acted upon at all levels of the system. My motivation to engage with DHIS2 stems from a desire to contribute to smarter, more responsive programming, especially in remote and data-scarce areas.
In the context of Balochistan, where access to quality healthcare, education, and livelihoods remains a pressing challenge, DHIS2 can play a vital role in addressing gaps in service delivery and governance. I am particularly interested in exploring topics such as digital health innovation, maternal and child health tracking, climate-related vulnerabilities, and conflict-sensitive development—all of which can be strengthened by robust data systems like DHIS2. By integrating local knowledge with real-time dashboards and analytics, we can empower government institutions, NGOs, and communities to respond more effectively to the evolving needs of the province and contribute meaningfully to national and global development goals.
I would like to know where one can access the Prediction app used with the Climate Health use case. I could find the Climate Health app but not the Prediction app on the DHIS2 app hub.
