Year/Month date input - data element (Capture app)

When we create the data element or TEA for Date Field, like birth date and capturing the data using Capture app, it shows calendar input, and that calendar shows like this

Here it is very difficult to navigate through years, because in case we are selecting year around 1980, will be so many clicks.

Is there any settings we can do for year selection to avoid this situation, that calendar input will be more user friendly.

Thank you very much for your report. The functionality to add year/month dropdowns is being worked on and in review here: feat: add year month selector to calendar component by alaa-yahia · Pull Request #84 · dhis2/multi-calendar-dates · GitHub

For now, you can still type the year in, but we hope this fix will be merged (and app released) very soon.
