Dear COP,

What would be the optimum RAM and CPU allocation for:

  1. Tomcat
  2. Java
  3. Postgresql
  4. Windows

Using a server with 31GB RAM and 24 virtual CPUs. The instance is mostly using Tracker programs, with a combination of Android app and Web Tracker Capture 70% to 30% respectively. There are about 2000 users alternating between data entry and event report viewing. The Database is about 30-40GB with Analytics tables included.

Ill greatly appreciate example configuration.

I also think this is based on the use and requirements. How big is the database? Number of operations? Number of users…etc
