The Web Portal app is a great starting point for building your own web portal or web site based on DHIS 2. This app builds on the wide range of plugins which exists for DHIS 2, letting you embed interactive charts, maps and pivot tables with live data directly in your web page.
You can deploy this app directly as your organisation’s or ministry’s data portal or copy it and modify the HTML code to fit your requirements.
The app dynamically reads all indicator groups and let you navigate to each indicator inside those groups, then displaying a line chart for the last 12 months, a column chart comparing all “provinces”, a map, and a pivot table in a single page for that indicator’s data.
You can download it from appstore.dhis2.org and try it out on demo.dhis2.org (navigate to “Web Portal” under “Services”. Note that this app requires the latest 2.13 stable build.
Thanks to Jan for making this nice app.
regards,
Lars
PS. A nifty detail is that we have published a CDN at dhis2-cdn.org which all plugins read static content from, removing the need for hard-coding the path to the local dhis instance for style sheets and scripts inside the plugins.
