we have a problem with one particular setup of a chart (of any type) or table:
Dimension: Data
Filter: nil
Category: Period
Series: Orgunits
Irrespective of what we select as indicator or data element, either in the Malawi or demo db, we get funky results, like values around 700 million etc
Example on the demo database at dhis2.org:
Any indicator or data element, or even the lack of it, will give the same result
Period: last 12 months
Orgunits: Districts Bo, Bombali, Bonthe
ordered with layout as described above. We want to track one indicator (Dimension) over time, for several orgunits. Typically we would want a line chart with each orgunit being represented by its own line (series), over a few months (category). What is the correct way of getting such a line chart?

Hi, whatever you put in “dimension” will not be part of the result. So what you see is the totals of the whole db for the given periods/orgunits.
If you don’t want the data dimension to be visible in the table/chart you need to put it as filter. I guess you have already tried that and found that indicators can not be set as filter. Unfortunately analytics does not allow that yet, but it works for data elements. So for now indicators must be set as series/columns or categories/rows.
