Dear Alvin,
After doing google the problem for a while, i found that it may cause
by the GPRS setting. The phone did not configure the preferred
Internet access point settings for general use. To solve the problem,
you have to set the access point manually:
1. Order the GPRS internet settings from your cellular provider so
that you receive them in OTA configration messages. Save the
configuration settings. The phone will ask if you want to make them
default settings, answer yes.
2. Go to menu "Settings" -> "Configuration settings" -> "Default
configuration settings" and select the GPRS internet access point for
your provider by highlighting it. Select "Set as default" from the
"Options" menu. Now the settings should be default for sure.
3. Go to menu "Settings" -> "Configuration settings" -> "Activate
default in all applications" and select "Yes". Now the internet
profile that we in the previous step made sure was default is default
also in all appllications.
4. Go to menu "Settings" -> "Configuration settings" -> "Preferred
access point", and select the GPRS internet access point for your
provider. NOTE! Even though there would only be one entry in this
list, make sure you really select it using the "Select" middle menu
button.
This is the instruction for a Nokia 3220 so it may not one 100%
similar to your phone. On the other hand, as Knut suggested, we also
can use the emulator to test. You can download it from
http://www.forum.nokia.com/Library/Tools_and_downloads/Other/Series_40_platform_SDKs
. Open the jar file with this emulator and it will work like a real
phone.

Dear Long,
I am able to browse to yahoo and to other sites via the Internet
browser of the phone.
When i start dhismobile, and after i enter the access codes, i see the
G and E icons at the top then being placed in a box.
Interestingly, the error in my site is 53 while the error in your site is 42.
I also think it is a problem with the local gprs setting.
Knut, how would i know if i am being given wap or internet?

Since we tested your sever with my Nokia 2330 and it worked, the problem should not come from the server. It must come from the C1-01 or the network. So let's try the following steps:
Open other application that also use GPRS in your phone (web browser or application
downloader) and see if they can work.If they cannot work, contact your service provider to re-setup GPRS.If they can work, open DHISMobile application, while you login, look at the top of the screen and find a small [E] or [G] icon. In case there is no icon, the application may not allowed to use GPRS.To give the permission, go to the application (do not open it) then click options then App.access, then set both Network Access and Connectivity to "Ask first time only" (or "Always allowed" if possible).Give it a try and let me know the result.Best regards,
