Information Use Academy, Kenya 2017, 3 - 8 April 2017
The East African Health Information Systems Program consortium (HISP Tanzania, HISP Uganda and HISP Rwanda) together with Kenya Ministry of Health and the University of Oslo will be hosting this 6 days training which combines principles learning, key concepts of Information Use, Monitoring and Evaluation in the context of public health and the tools in DHIS 2 to support these.
Through lectures, hands-on exercises and discussion with peers, participants will be well equipped to enhance the use of DHIS 2 in their daily work.

This Academy is aimed very specifically at those with the technical responsibility for installing and maintaining DHIS 2 in a production environment on Ubuntu linux servers.

Our online Academy, to be launched in March 2017, will be an introduction to DHIS 2 providing:
- A working knowledge of DHIS 2 principles and terminology, with an overall understanding of how DHIS 2 can be used to collect and analyze aggregate and individual based data;
- A broad understanding of how DHIS 2 can be used to meet multiple health information system requirements. More information will follow shortly so stay tuned!
