We are looking for translation of name for one of our custom apps.
Currently we are giving name in the manifest.webapp file with default locale as ‘en’.
We would like DHIS to show the translated name of our app when we change language.
Is it possible to make the app name translatable?

it appears this is not doable in a feasible way currently.
The only option would be to add the translation to the translation file in the backend here:
This would require that you fork the backend code which is not a great idea.
We will consider adding support for app name translations based on current user locale in the new app shell / build process, so that the app bundle can specify its own name translations.
