I am experiencing an issue when creating a unique id as a tracked entity. I have selected the value type as Number and I want the number to be populated automatically. However, this is the error I get when saving the changes:

Hi @KMurumba,
the generated values are only supported for value type TEXT. You can still generate numbers, but due to how numbers are treated on the server, using it might have side effects, which is why we disabled it.

I now get the reasoning behind the move to disable that option. I will stick to using TEXT at the moment. Thanks a lot for speedy response.
