Start date deletion problem

Hi all,

I am unable to delete the start date of a category option. After clicking on X, the date is deleted, but after saving the change and reopening the category option, the date is still showing.

Have you saved any values to the category option? It might be more complicated if there are values attached; however, if you’ve just created the metadata and not inserted any values to it then maybe it’s just a cache issue, so please try the following:

  1. Login using your browser’s Guest mode Browse Chrome as a guest - Computer - Google Chrome Help
  2. Make the changes to the Category option in the Maintenance app
  3. Go to Data Administration app, in Maintenance view, select (Update category option combinations, Clear application cache, and Reload apps)
  4. Close the browser and open again in the Guest mode

I hope that this helps. If it doesn’t, would you kindly add the following information:

  1. What version of DHIS2 are you using? And are you able to reproduce this issue in any of the play.dhis2.org instances, if so please share the steps to reproduce
  2. Before making the changes, open Dev Tools (F12) and ensure that Network tab is selected, and then make the changes, do you see any errors in the Network tab? Or in the Console? If you see any errors please copy the request/response from the Network tab or errors that appear in the Console after making the changes.
