Hi everyone, I have an events program that collects data for training people in rural areas(using capture App).I also have a dataset that captures data annually, but I would like that when I enter aggregated data in data entry form for the dataset, total event counts(total trainings) for the year that matches the year selected on data entry form automatically show in my data entry form on the field for ‘Total Trainings Conducted’. I tried creating a program indicator and adding it to the dataset but it shows a 0.I need a way to show total number of trainings recorded in 2023 from events program on data entry form and not to enter it manually.
You are on the right path. After creating a program indicator, an indicator can be created and added to the dataset. Finally, it is possible that the value is showing a zero because the analytics tables need to be exported using the Data Administration app first.
Please run the export first and check again. Thanks!
Hi @Gassim ,thank You for your response, I have exported analytics tables in data administration but the value remained the same, the program indicator appears on the capture form in the capture app and shows count of 1 per record, but I need the number of records capture in a certain year to auto populate in my Data Entry form ,I had tried to do as above but it seems some thing is lacking.
