I have just installed tomcat on linode server(ubuntu 14)…but cant access tomcat manager through: http//::8080

Hello Moemedi,

Can you output here the log file (exple: tomcat-dhis/logs/catalina.out) after running DHIS 2 ?

Is there another instance of tomcat running ? It seems that there is a problem to bind to the needed ports

org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService initInternal
SEVERE: Failed to initialize connector [Connector[AJP/1.3-8009],

SEVERE: StandardServer.await: create[localhost:8005]:

java.net.BindException: Address already in use

at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketBind(Native Method)

at java.net.AbstractPlainSocketImpl.bind(AbstractPlainSocketImpl.java:376)

Can you run netstat -tupan to check ?

Or is someone having a better understanding of this case… ?

Hi!

When running the command (netstat -tupan) you provided… This was the output

tcp6 0 0 :::8080 :::* LISTEN 7184/java
