Program Enrollment API

Dear All,

With reference to API documentation at
http://dhis2.github.io/dhis2-docs/master/en/developer/html/ch01s54.html#d0e11517

there seems to be 3 stages for an enrollment; active, cancelled or completed.

What are the differences between cancelled and completed states?

If I want to unenroll a tracked entity instance from a programme with a probability of reenrolling him again in future with availability of access to current events in future, what should be the state I should convert his enrollment to, is it cancelled or complete.

Thank you

Hi Pamod,

You will find the following statuses on the Tracker registering page:

Active Enrollment - are those entities which are registered and are yet to come for the programme.

Completed - entities that Finished the programme till last stage

Cancelled - Terminated enrollment - (not completed the program or dropped in between due to various reasons)

For unenrolling a tracked entity instance, the status has to be cancelled.

Cheers,

Hi Archana,

Thank you for the info. With reference to what you have mentioned above, in my use case tracked entities have in fact completed the stages but there may be a chance that there would be a need to enroll them again in future provided certain criteria are met. In this case I assume I may have to mark the enrollment complete.

I assume both the statuses complete and cancelled are reversible.

Thank you.

Hi Pamod,

There is also an option to deactivate a tracked entity, if it’s of any help. If no more data entry for this person is required (owing to various reasons), then the person can be deactivated.

See the screenshot attached. This is available in the Settings icon of Tracker Dashboard.
