Program Activation and Displaying of Registration page on the Tracker App

Hello and good afternoon, I created the data collection forms but cannot be able to access the program and client registration page on the tracker app. Please kindly help

Hello and good morning, My apologies for the very late response. I moved to work with another organization and got locked out as a superuser, However, I am back and using DHIS2. An instance was created for me by my regional support team. There a lor of challenges in the use of DHIS2 in PNG but I wont mention most of them for now. For me I am really interested in customization and configuration of new forms into DHIS2 as this is a huge need here in PNG. One of them I am faced with right now is: I have created the forms into DHIS2 but I have chosen the option set as a text file. However, on the drop down list its giving me a select (drop down list). I want people to type something as a text file, Not choose a Option. Please help me in resolving this.

I have created a form onto DHIS2. in the option set I selected the text file as I wanted to people to type in their organizational name. However, it the display list on the registration form it is giving me a drop down list (select file). Please help me in resolving this.

Do you mean like the above screenshot? If the option set value type is ‘File’, it will still show the options as text but this might cause issues in analytics…etc

If by the Organizational Name, you mean Organization Unit then you might want to choose the value type of the attribute or data element as ‘Organization Unit’ instead of using an option set. If ‘organizational name’ is not the OUs then you have correctly used an option set but make sure the value type is ‘text’ and not file.

You can share detailed explanation or screenshots of the metadata and I’ll look further into it.

Thank you so much. I managed to resolve it and now have the form live on DHIS2.
I’m also facing another issue. When I completed the enrollment registration. Sometimes it’s taking me to the first program stage and sometimes it’s not taking me to the program stages. Why is this happening?

Why is the program stages coming on and sometimes it’s not after I completed the registration successfully.
When the error occurred initially I created new option sets and it’s working now. The error seems to coming on frequently now.
Is there a reason why it’s taking me to the program stages and sometimes it’s not? None of the fields have been checked as mandatory.
Please help me.

HI Gassim, I managed to create another data set for the variable. I selected a different data type. I also realized that it could not go to the Program stage because the same client was being entered. Once a uniquely different client is entered then it goes to the Program stage.

This is probably because the metadata configuration was set to make this unique in the entire system.
