Please for help

Hi everyone,

Sorry for going out of topic but I really really need your help.Im from Cameroon, Africa.

Thank you very much for your efforts. It’s unfortunate for me though to be selected for GSOC 2016.But presently I’m developing an Android application that will be using a map API to locate a house for renting .The application will also show the nearest health center, pharmaci, and restaurants. It is aimed at helping new students who are coming from other regions for university studies and also for strangers too.The app will also give room to students book for rooms using mobile money API and landlords too should have an interface to upload new information on available rooms… …Please my aim is to help my local community through IT.Since I was not lucky with GSOc I won’t give up will try out by all means to help my communuty…the email is to ask for help when I’m stuck…I’m not an expert like majority of you here though.I am struggling to create the layout with Android studio 2.0.I tried to Import a sliding tool bar with material design project but have difficulties. It is for the menu item… I don’t know what to really do.Please for help…By waiting to hear from you I wish to you all a blessed day.

Regards,

Gaspard.

Hi Gaspard,

As a fellow Android developer I know the struggle figuring out issues like you’re having right now. However, this is the DHIS2 community, we are more than happy to assist you to resolve your problems in the DHIS2 context. When I have any Android issues I often seek to Stackoverflow(http://stackoverflow.com/) or use Google for searching for blog posts about the topic I’m interested in. When searching for Sliding toolbar in Google, the first search result is this blog post: http://www.android4devs.com/2015/01/how-to-make-material-design-sliding-tabs.html .

Hope this helps and good luck,

Regards,
