Hello All,
We just upgraded our instance to 2.24 and discovered that the Organisational Unit names wouldn’t display in GIS when I try to edit the layers i.e. Boundary, Layer 1, 2,3 and 4.
See attached screen shot. Any help on how to resolve this will be appreciated.

Do you have names for the levels?

Yes. I’ve tried clearing the browser cache and also using another browser plus chrome incognito mode but still get same result.
The levels are also named (see attached Screen shot).

The only script specified in the upgrade instruction is “Run the database SQL upgrade script once before updating the WAR file. It only applies if you have set up program rules for your system.”. This is to be done during the upgrade from 2.22 to 2.23. But as you can see it is optional as we don’t have program rules on our system.

You should probably refresh or do something until you see some red error messages… The network tab may also be of interest

Sometimes it is related to names with apostrophes or funny characters in them - though I thought such issues were largely resolved by now.

Hi Barnabas,
you might need to clear the server side nginx cache, then restart nginx. Did you install your DHIS 2 instance using the “server tools”? On linux you can do this with:
sudo rm /var/cache/nginx -rf
sudo service nginx restart
Then clear your browser cache again.

We just upgraded our instance to 2.24 and discovered that the Organisational Unit names wouldn’t display in GIS when I try to edit the layers i.e. Boundary, Layer 1, 2,3 and 4.
See attached screen shot. Any help on how to resolve this will be appreciated.

Hello Knut,
The funny thing is that the names display in other Apps i.e. Pivot Table, Visualiser etc.
The problem is only with the GIS App.
