Issues with light/smartphone data aggregate data entry when user is assigned to parent and its children

Hi Devs,

We are using version 2.13. I have not reproduced this on the demo server, but have reproduced it on several different instances of 2.13.

The situation is that we have some users which are assigned to the ward level (OU4) and also need to report on some OU5 level orgunits. We have explicitly assigned them to these orgunits. However, when we attempt to do data entry with either the light or smartphone client, we see a message “No orgunits found” or something like that, and you are led directly back to the main page.

So, the issue seems to be when the user is assigned to both the parent as well as at least one of its children. This issue is really affecting the ability of our field reporters to send in reports. Hope someone can take a look at it ASAP.

Best regards,

Jason

Hi Jason,

I just perform a quick test on the /demo server. It seems to work for me. As you can see in the screenshot, I assigned the mobile user to Ngelehun CHC and Badjia (which is the parent of Ngelehun CHC). I still can select the OrgUnit and submit the report normally.

Could you please tell me a bit more about your case?
