I recently updated DHIS2 from version 2.37 to version 2.39.6. After the update, my dashboards started showing the following error: “There was an error loading data for this item”, as illustrated in the attached screenshot. I also tried creating new visuals in the Data Visualizer app and loading them into the Dashboard, but they are not displaying correctly either.
did you relaunched the analytics generation since the upgrade ?
try to get more details about the error
open the browser console to get more details about the error.
or open the tomcat logs
Is there any missing manual step in the upgrade in the release notes ? like an sql script to launch (not sure when flyway was introduced), dashboard feature that is no more supported in data viz app.
You can use the scheduler app to run manually.
This will recreate your analytics tables.
Alternatively you can wait until the scheduler runs by itself, usually midnight.
