introducing pooben and mike

Hi,

as part of the transition process from DHIS 1.4 to version 2, HISP
South Africa has lately hired two new Java software developers:

Pooben Dass has 15 years of experience with Java application
development and systems integration from the banking industry / FNB.

Mike Nelushi has 7 years of experience with Java software development
in the mobile industry from corporations including Vodacom, MTN and
Safaricom.

We have just completed a fruitful workshop here in Oslo where the new
guys have met and worked with the core team. This development is a
great step forward for HISP and our goal of sharing a common
technological platform. The new devs will work with SA specific
requirements but also stick to the HISP philosophy of building general
solutions, enabling all DHIS users to benefit from new features and
innovations. As the HISP SA team improves their skills and knowledge
of DHIS 2, the DHIS 2 community looks forward to further leveraging
the great experience with information systems and data use that exists
within HISP SA.

We wish you a warm welcome to the team.

best regards,

Lars

Welcome!!
