I just posted this on the users listserv, but I figured I would also send it out to the developers. I’m currently working for an organization that is particularly curious about the interoperability of ODK and DHIS 2. Does anybody have any experience with syncing both systems? Does moving information stored through ODK into DHIS 2 require additional coding? If so, is that more of a matter of DHIS 2 accepting the information that ODK is exporting rather than the other way around? Any help/information would be appreciated

There was a project on Google code summer regarding that particular interoperability Here. I don’t know the status of that project though.
The best way would be to export the dataset in Xforms format and make ODK render them. The data would then be pushed back to DHIS2 through the api. Not a specialist on Xforms, so I don’t know the outcome of the transformation but I expect some custom development to be made.
