# How to import registration data with stages into DHIS2?

I have data in CSV file, there is data of patient registration and their stages. Also some data fields are Boolean type. How can I import this data? Please help.

Dear @Sudarshan

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the community! Apologies for the late response.

As far as I know, the CSV file needs to be converted to a JSON file in a format similar to the one in the docs [here](https://docs.dhis2.org/en/develop/using-the-api/dhis-core-version-master/tracker.html#:~:text=Complete%20example%20of%20payload%20including%3A%20tracked%20entity%20instance%2C%20enrollment%20and%20event), and then using the Import/Export app you can choose TEI Import.
