I am currently working on a DHIS2 Tracker program and would like to know if it is possible to hide the “Reports” section in the main menu for specific users while keeping it visible for others.
My goal is to restrict access to the reports for certain users based on their roles and permissions within the Tracker program. Is there a method or configuration in DHIS2 that allows this kind of granular control over user access, specifically for users involved in a Tracker program?
I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions!
If the user has access to the app, it’s not possible to hide the Reports from the user settings.
As you know Tracker Capture app is a deprecated app in version 42 and above, so there’s no development in the app. If you intend to use the app for a while, you could recreate the app into two versions, one with the link to access the reports and another without then give access accordingly. This will need assistance from a web developer.
I will let you know if I get any other insights or ideas.
