# how to build event capture android app

Hi all

I am trying to load Event Capture android app in android studio 1.5.1

I created folder like this :

- eventcapture

—dhis2-android-eventcapture

—dhis2-android-sdk

i’ve already cloning from github repo dhis2-android-eventcapture and dhis2-android-sdk

when I build the project I got this error :

Error:(107, 0) Gradle DSL method not found: ‘debugCompile()’

Possible causes:

- 

- 

is there anything I am not doing right ?

Hi Rudi,

Try to write in git shell for both Event capture and Android SDK project: _git checkout 2.22-legacy_
