Hello,
I wonder if it’s possible to get the name of a data element from the web api in the language defined
in the profile of the user.
For example, the data element “State of waiting areas” has a spanish translation "Estado de las areas
de espera". Getting this element from /api/dataElements only gives me the name in English, regardless
of the language in the user profile.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a special resource for field translations?
Thanks!

We are looking this for 2.18 but it’s not ready yet.

Hello all,
I need to insert translations for for most of my metadata and thougth the Web API would be the fastest way to do it.
I understand my need is pretty related to this one that i’m re-opening…so … was it finally included in 2.18???
Thanks!

Hi Morten,
ok, thanks. I´m afraid we have to introduce the translations before April…
I think we will try to insert them directly in the DB (unless someone tells us not to do it) I can’t imagine updating one by one all the DE…
Has someone in the list done this before? If that is the case, would be nice to know best practices or recomendations.
thanks!
