# External WMS Map Problem

Hi there  
Anyone else see a problem in version 2.35.3 after adding a WMS External Map? The client seems to have a bug I think because the GetMap requests sent are missing the _&styles=_ parameter. Even though it is empty it needs to be there.

Works fine in Version 2.33.8

Hey @kbragg Welcome to the community! I am sorry for the delay!

Does this Jira describe the same issue you are facing?  
GIS: External WMS not visible in Maps or GIS

If not, are you still facing this issue? Mind if I ask you to take a screenshot after performing the same task while the **Network** tab is open in the Console (F12) and see if there’s any error. Thank you!
