Not sure.
But I would just take a backup of the database and then give it a try. The other thing you could do is to export all the metadata and data and import into a clean 2.15 instance.

Hi,
no it is not possible to downgrade. The software does not make the necessary adjustments to the database and you will likely get undesired behavior.

Yes it should mostly work to make a full meta-data export and then import it on the system running the lower DHIS version. There might a few parts that are not supported on the lower version but it should mostly work.

WHY do you want to downgrade? If something no longer work in 2.16 and/or 2.17, it seems to be a more logical approach to fix those problems?
