Distance Calculation with GIS module

Hi everyone,

I am currently using GIS module to map the orgunits of our DHIS instance in the national map. Everything went fine but i was wondering if there was a possibility calculating distance between two orgunit elements or more. I don’t know if this feature has been implemented. We are using 2.31.3 version.

Hi Abdou,

You can create Distance and Area Measurements using the Maps App. Here is the documentation: Home - DHIS2 Documentation

I hope one day we can calculate Distances and Bearing between two points and store it as data element :slight_smile: @Scott, Do you think that can make it on the roadmap someday?
