I’m sure this has been asked before but I haven’t found a post (might not be searching for the right thing). Is there a way to choose what is displayed in analysis applications (pivot table, etc) for data elements and reports? From what I can understand, the name of the indicator is important for organizing configuration. But it’s not always the most clear or useful (or concise) on the analytics side. Is there a way to use the short name or have like a display name?

If you check System Settings, Under Appearance, you will see "Property to Display in Analysis Modules
(See Image below)
NOTE: The settings for this can be overridden by user settings
