DHIS2 v43 : Custom attribute value not displayed in View/Edit and gets removed on update

I am using DHIS2 v43 and facing an issue with a newly created custom attribute.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new attribute in the Maintenance app for the Program indicator.

  2. Add a value for the attribute to an existing object.

  3. Confirm through the API that the value is saved.

  4. Open the object in the Maintenance app, the attribute value is not shown in View or Edit.

  5. Edit another field and save the object.

  6. Check the API again, the previously saved attribute value is gone.

It looks like the Maintenance app may not be loading the newly created attribute when editing the object, and the update operation then overwrites/removes the existing attribute value.

Thank you for reporting this and it appears to be a known bug that is in progress of being fixed. Please have a look at this Jira bug issue: MMA: Values for program indicator custom attributes are not loaded - feel free to add your comments there if there’s anything missing.

Hi @Gassim,

Thank you for the update and for pointing me to jira.

After updating the Maintenance app to 0.182.0, the issue is now resolved.
