Hi @Carloscnk Our instructions on the Developer Portal work very well for MacOS. I’m on a Mac as well, and pretty new to DHIS2. The easiest way for me to get started with the app was Docker. Orbstack is the docker engine I use. Docker Desktop is another option. There are others. ---

Hi @Gassim My personal setup is a learning rig. I work with some instances in production, but none whose deployment is under my personal care yet. ---

If this is for local testing and not for production you can follow these simple steps (I haven’t test this myself but I tested the steps on Windows): 1. Install [Mac | Docker Docs](https://docs.docker.com/desktop/setup/install/mac-install/) 2. Open your Bash shell on Mac then type copy and paste the following command: ```auto git clone https://github.com/dhis2/docker-deployment.git && \ cd docker-deployment && \ export GEN_APP_HOSTNAME=dhis2-127-0-0-1.nip.io && \ export GEN_LETSENCRYPT_ACME_EMAIL=whatever@dhis2.org && \ ./scripts/generate-env.sh && \ make launch ``` If it’s installed properly, it should allow you to open using the hostname [https://dhis2-127-0-0-1.nip.io](https://dhis2-127-0-0-1.nip.io) – **[source](https://github.com/dhis2/docker-deployment).** Please share screenshot(s) and the log if it doesn’t install.
