Dear community members,

Thank you for the continuous engagement with Education/EMIS, we had a meetup before the DHIS2 Annual Conference, interesting sessions during DAC, and now it’s time for a second DHIS2 for Education/EMIS Community Meetup! Let’s continue the conversation and engagement through these meetups as we connect virtually with the DHIS2 Education team, Ministry of Education representatives, and other community members working on Education Management Information System (EMIS) projects around the world.

We have put together a poll with some topic suggestions because we want your input to choose the final topic.

We at UNESCO Institute for Statistics definitely would like to attend. But the meeting is at 5am Montreal time. Is it possible to advance it?

Hi there! So wonderful to see colleagues from UIS on the CoP! We would absolutely have loved to accommodate, but with the information already going out quite widely, we won’t be able to this time unfortunately. What we can do is ensure the recording is shared here and also plan that the next EMIS CoP meet up takes place at a time that ensures colleagues in Montreal can join!

Hi, My name is Azania, thank you for the wonderful presentation in the just concluded COP Meetup.

The question i had was: How has Nigeria worked with local innovators who have developed school-level systems that schools are already using for functions such as student attendance, assessments, student report cards, parent portals and other day-to-day school management processes?

In particular, how does the national system interoperate with these existing school-level platforms, and how do you ensure that schools can continue using the solutions they have already adopted while securely exchanging the required data with the national system?
