[Dhis2-devs] [Bug 1228162] [NEW] Migrating dhis2 live version from pc to another the dataset is not displayed on data entry

Since you seem to be working offline, you can just move the whole database. Are you using the built-in H2?

Public bug reported:

Hi! there! am developing a system of sanitation based on predefined

indicators like Latrine usage, utensil rack usage and etc by using DHIS2

live version,I have managed to do it properly in my local computer but

when i try to migrate the application into another computer…the

datasets are not shown on the drop down menu…and even if i try to

create new dataset and assign it to the organisation unit still no

dataset is showing up on the drop down menu so that i can do the data

entry.

But the datasets are imported properly and i can view them on the

dataset menu from the dhis…what could be the problem??it almost two

days trying to find a way but am stuck…any help will be appreciated

With Postgres, you could just do a full dump of the database, using pg_dump:
https://www.google.com.vn/search?q=pg_dump+dhis2.org

But since you have done it this way, you need to run Analytics before the data will show up in the Pivots. Go to Services -> Reports -> Analytics and Data Mart.

No am using postgres,i managed to retrieve the dataset, what i was missing is to assign the dataset to the specific user after assigning that dataset the user role…but now importing data values works fine but the data values imported are not appearing on the pivort table if i select indictators or data elements…it returns no values found, but when i check in my database in the datavalue table i can see all the imported data values…am i also missing some setting…remember the pivot table report in my local pc am using for development its ok…
