DHIS2 Date Format queries

Hi,

I have a couple of queries regarding date format in DHIS as per the current functionality.

  • Does the date format in DHIS change based on the browser locale settings?
  • Also, does changing language or locale change date settings?

Hi Archana

The output from the web-api definitely does not change. Regarding out Tracker Capture and Event Capture apps I don’t know, maybe Abyot knows?

In general this is usually left up to the app, as the output from the web-api is normalized down to UTC.

Hi,

Both Tracker and event capture apps follow date format defined in Calendar setting, which is either dd-MM-yyyy or yyyy-MM-dd.

The only place we show hh:mm:ss is in event comment/note details.
