Hello,
I would like to get to understand how the data visualizer code works and play around with the code e.g adding new API functionality or changing the UI.
Are there any resources to help me with this? Please share them.

Depending on the use case, developers interested in contributing have two options:

  1. Create a custom web app or script, see Application Platform
  2. Contribute directly to the DHIS@ source code, see Contribute to the DHIS2 source code | DHIS2 Developer Portal

There are many resources in the developers.dhis2.org portal. Additionally, if you would like to learn more about the DHIS2 API, you can have a look at these docs Introduction - DHIS2 Documentation

You could share the use cases here so other community members can have a further look into this.
